I have been doing a crazy amount of shopping recently. I won a River Island black lace skirt on ebay the other week which arrived yesterday. I hit the shops yesterday and purchased a pair of stripy socks, a pair of fingerless gloves, a top from Primark (I wasn't going to purchase it but I loved its nautical theme) and a lovely thick cardigan. When I went to volunteer today, I came across a new pair of Next jeans which were petite, so not too long for me. I also found a smart pair of Next trousers. Of course I had to buy them.

They cheered me up a little, as I have been in a bad mood all evening. I suppose it's to do with the job situation. I have been writing lots of letters to different companies and organisations this week. Only one, Yell, has got back to me, in order to reject me. I feel like no one wants me, especially as their is going to be lots of job cuts now.
